I met David as agreed in the bar of the Liongate hotel, where a few guests had started to arrive. It was a gorgeous day again and inside some great light came in providing me with some good opportunities for candid shots.

In the ceremony room upstairs guests were treated with views into Bushy Park one way and to the Palace gates the other way. David elegant in his suit and Sylvia who looked great in her floaty dress entered together in what proved a touching and emotional ceremony which obviously meant so much to the couple.

After some suitable time mingling and canapés served, I took the whole party around the corner for some group shots in bushy park. It was lovely to get the trees in the backgrounds of these shots.

David and Sylvia had kindly pre-arranged with Hampton Court for some photographs to be taken inside the gardens and I was really pleased with the results, especially around the gates themselves, with the blue sky above. The main feeling that came through strongly on the day as did previously in my pre-wedding meetings was how much in love this couple were. But it wasn’t all soppy as you can tell from the fun wedding cake!
