Emily & Nick
Foxhills

My day unusually started at the church on Emily and Nick’s big day. With rain forecast all week for the day I met with the vicar and prepared some lights in case of needing to shoot groups in the church.

Emily’s mother’s house was a busy place with 5 bridesmaids and Emily her Mum and Brothers and Grandpa all getting ready! However they all managed to get finished before I left so I could get some family groups in the garden.

It was still dry and I managed to capture a few shots of Nick walking to the church with his 5 groomsmen and father. The vicar likes to keep his services very private and not have any photography, so I managed to sneak outside and was pleased to see that the weather was still holding out.

After carrying out all the bigger groups in the church grounds we headed off to Fohills for the reception. This is a stunning venue and has grown in facilities since I had last visited. The front lawn provided the location for Emma and Nick to mingle and the porch later on for some more groups, as the rain started to fall (luckily much later than predicted). Inside, whilst guests gathered, I took the couple along to the empty restaurant which has really beautiful stone windows and provided a great backdrop for some elegant portraits.

I left everyone at the start of the meal, after taking some fun shots during the speeches which were held before the meal.

Congratulations to you both Emma & Nick.
