I'd been really looking forward to Kirsty & Jim's wedding - the day didn't disappoint. The Mitre is in such as wonderful position facing Hampton Court and right on the river Thames. It's one of my most local venues and during our pre-wedding meeting we agreed that the area is special to all of us.

The day panned out really well, the weather was kind to us and the ceremony room was beautifully prepared and guests able to watch the proceedings with a painted wall behind the couple, of the view outside the windows.

Kirsty looked really pretty in her dress and her sister wore a stunning blue dress matching some of the flowers.

I was so pleased we made the short trip down to the 'beach' the other side of the river - the shots are a real favorite and say so much about the day...
