It made a nice change, on Gillian & Stuart's big day, to start my photography with the boys' preparations. Stuart, best man and friends were already very much ready and smart in their morning suits and relaxed despite the occasion and the late arrival of one usher!
Off to the venue for the day, The Manor House Hotel near Guildford, a venue I know well and where Gillian was getting ready.
The beautiful ceremony room was filled up with family and friends as Gillian walked into the room (a few tears in her eyes) behind her little bridesmaid. My position at the front gave a great view of the Bride & Groom making their commitments with guests seated in front of the painted wall behind.
With plenty of time before the meal this gave Gillian & Stuart good mingling time with guests before the group and portrait photos. The Scott clan in their kilts also proved to be a good source of fun and photographs!
I stayed on throughout the day until the first dances to capture the atmosphere of a very happy occasion. Well Done!
